Should I Get The Note Like That? by princely4ever: 2:31pm On May 17, 2023
I use a bank dollar card (GT) and decided to fund it today with only five dollars. I was having thoughts whether to apply for a virtual card (Tribapay) and use their own service or use the one I have which is currently cheaper for me and easily accessbile for what I want to use it for. After a while, I thought I should go for the GT dollar card transaction and fund with the $5 dollar amount to use on what I need it for.

You cannot fund a nonvirtual card in Nigeria unless you take the paper currency to the bank which I thought of as the only constraint for anyone who doesn't have that with them. That's why a virtual card is the best as you don't have to face those struggles of going to the aboki blackmarket for exchange.

When I thought I should make GT my option for just now, and go to meet those aboki dollar merchant, I was so unimpressed with the state and appearance of the note. I asked myself if it were something I could take to the bank. It was just a single note and I stared at it for long if it were even original.

The dollar is a currency with value but the kind I saw was distasteful in appearance. If you've ever bought or exchanged these dollars, in what condition did you get them and how did you feel about buying them from the aboki merchants?

And what do you think, should I get the note like that? Even if I do, I guess a virtual card will be my next better option.
