The first universities in the world were not established by muslims, stop saying what you don't know. The first University in the world is the university of Bologna.
Al Azhar University and University of Al Quaraouiyine were not universities when they were established, they were initially established as mosques and only gained University status in the 20th century. University of Bologna was established as a University in the 11th century, 1088 to be precise. Make sure you know what you're saying before you come online to just type stuff
