Craig Chandler Price is an American serial killer who committed a series of murders in Warwick, Rhode Island between the ages of 13 and 15, making him the youngest serial killer in the history of the United States. He is also known as the “Warwick Slasher” & “Iron Man” due to the brutality of his crime and his hulking teenage body. Childhood
Craig Price was born on the 11th of October 1973. He and his two siblings grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island. His Father John Price worked at the local K-Mart department store in a management position and his mother Shirley Price was a clerical worker at the same establishment.

Unlike many serial killers in History, Craig’s childhood was what most would consider normal. All of his teachers and neighbours recall that he had a comedic nature about him and would go the extra mile to help others.

Going into his Teenage years Craig started getting in trouble around the neighbourhood and soon began to acquire a criminal record. By the time he was 13, he had acquired a litany of charges that included breaking and entering, robbery, stalking, drug use, and assault.

It was reported that Craig had a significant growth spurt during this time and was substantially larger and stronger than most boys his age. He also joined a local gang and began to experiment with drugs such as marijuana and LSD on top of that.

Serial Murder
Craig committed his first murder at 13 in Warwick, Rhode Island on the night of July 27, 1987. He broke into a home that was only two houses away from his own after that he took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed 27-year-old Rebecca Spencer 58 times, killing her in her sleep.

Prior to Rebecca’s murder, Craig already had a history of stalking women and leering at them through their windows. He also had a history of breaking into people’s homes and robbing them. After brutally murdering Rebecca in her sleep, Craig didn’t kill anyone else. He “cooled off” for a little over two years.

Authorities believed Rebecca was murdered by someone she knew. They figured that since she had only lived in the area for a short time, that was the reason no other attacks followed.

On September 1, 1989, after smoking marijuana laced with LSD, he found himself at Joan Heaton’s house, a 39-year-old woman with two children. He stabbed Joan 57 times,
