As an avid Labour supporter, can you honestly say that you were impressed by his performance on Tuesday night’s debate? I’m sure that debate did more damage than good for Labour.

His response to the NHS question was based on political ideology rather than commons sense. He will not use private healthcare to help a dying loved one, he would continue to wait on NHS waiting list. That to me is either foolishness or plain white lie but each to their own. Same reason he finds it difficult to define a woman.

I can vote whoever I want to vote for or even spoil my ballot paper. Labour does not deserve my vote because I don’t know what they stand for. Have you examined Labour's policies on legal immigration? They're talking quite tough, for example

In May 2023, Labour said that employers would have to meet extra conditions to receive a sponsor licence, such as demonstrating efforts to train domestic workers.

This is proposing a return to the stricter conditions that were in place pre Brexit where companies had to prioritise the domestic and EU workforce before they were allowed to hire internationally.

I'm only quoting the plans they said they would explore which is to divert people en route to the UK and process them elsewhere. If successful they will be allowed to enter the UK. If not then they would be free to go wherever they want, but they wouldn't be in the UK in the first place.

Hi, please has anyone here gotten a refund from Nigerian embassy in London?

I remember some comments you made about the proposed tax a few months ago so I knew the bolded would be one of your main reasons.

I think Labour will be forced to do a U turn at some point. There are so many strong arguments against it, plus on Question Time last week I think it was Nigel or maybe Piers who made the very good point that the same VAT policy had been rolled out in Greece a few years back and they had to change course as it was basically a big failure. So it doesn't bode well.

Gender issues is one of the reasons I'm in favour of a right wing balance in parliament.

If you feel dubious about Starmer (and UK Labour Party) unable to define what/who a woman is. If you feel dubious that a leading figure of a party thinks that a woman can have a p*nis. I understand your dilemma, having Nicola Sturgeon and Flynn and etc as leaders. Even Kate Forbes that somehow stood by what she believed in now is confused.
You start considering some of these things and you end up thinking... perhaps the Tories are not as scum as labour voters potray them.

The whole point is to avoid them landing in the UK in the first place due to the huge costs, massive backlog and legal complexities.

The current process is a complete shambles, Rwanda was doomed to fail from the start and even Sunak didn't/doesn't believe in it, so why not explore an alternative? What's so wrong with trying something different?

I didn't believe that post above where someone said Starmer described Sunak as the most liberal prime minister the UK has had when it comes to Legal Migration. I wanted to fact-check. My conclusion is that the Tories are now the party with more favourable immigration policies towards immigrants.

My dear sister. The major selling point of the Rwanda 'gimmick' (now this is me quoting Sir K.S) was/is meant to be the deterrent effect.

Now Imagine this scenario for a second:
200 people arrive in Dover on a boat. As soon as they approach the shores, they are given hot meals, nice fish and chips and ushered into the Bibby Stockholm. The next day, another 150 arrive. Same thing. That evening, 2 Boeing 777 planes take off with ALL 350 of the arrivals to Kigali.

The next day, most Newspapers in France and Belgium (plus UK Daily Mail and Telegraph) splashed their front pages with photos of the successful arrival of the 2 Boeing aircraft at Kigali International Airport.

What do you think will happen to those dudes (well and a few lasses) in Calais? Do you honestly think they will pay thousands of Euros to 'people smugglers' to put them on dingies? NO WAY!!

I tell you, 99% (my estimate) will ququma abort the mission immediately. Now, that is the deterrent effect.

PS: The ideal thing would have been for the Rwanda policy to be backed up with the UK foreign office expanding their consulate in France so that anyone in France who genuinely believes they are qualified for UK asylum could go to the consulate to be processed. Or in fact, the French Govt should allow the UK to open an asylum processing centre in Calais so that any successful applicants are ferried across the channel legally and smoothly - via Eurostar or HMS Belfast or HMS Elizabeth or HMS Zahradeen. I'm sure you know France will not want that. In this case, anyone who arrives at Dover in an inflatable is, strictly speaking, an illegal criminal (under UK laws).

I'm sure you have heard or read reports of French Coast guards escorting the dingies through French waters, and once they are in English waters, the RNLI rescues them.

What scheme's can she benefit from it, I mean travel wise?

She's leaving for the US and has got a 10 hour lay over at the Heathrow Airport... can she be allowed in? I mean meet relatives at the arrival section of the airport then returns to continue her journey?

Does she need a transit visa for such things?
