FCT, Making Of 25% Of 2/3rd States Status By Gboyega Amoboye by AntiTerrorist: 3:56pm On May 20, 2023 |
Like the controversy of what constituted 2/3rd of 19 States in 1979, in 2023, the controversy is what constitutes 25% of 2/3rd of 36 States and the FCT. While the 1979 controversy was resolved in favour of President Shehu Shagari by the Supreme Court, Nigerians await the verdict of the Supreme Court again that would determine the fate of Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party who has taken Mr President – elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the Court. Obi’s argument is that a winner must have scored 25% in the FCT which he alone has made. But the clear winner in all fronts, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has faulted Obi’s argument as baseless and therefore must fail. Analytsts and even lawyers are divided on the correct interpretation of this innocuous section of the Constitution and the Electoral Act which says winner must have scored 25% in 2/3rds of 36 States including the FCT, which only Bola Tinubu, the President – elect has made.https://newspotng.com/fct-making-of-25-of-2-3rd-states-status-by-gboyega-amoboye/ 1 Like 1 Share |

Every Agbadorian will interpret the law to favour his/her drug baron. But the truth of the matter is that 25% in FCT is compulsory. And is a conjunction or intersection and it is used for substatements that are independent. You can only use and in mutually exclusive events. Felabrity:Tinubu knows this. That's why he wants to take over labour party by crook. He will fail at last! 1 Like |

No matter the grammar you decide to speak, tinubu is not a constitutionally elected president of the federal republic of Nigeria. He is a yakubu select. 2 Likes |

A person got 25% in 16 states instead of the required 24 states. He still came third in simple majority votes. Yet he is screaming aloud that his manhood was stolen. Is that not a mental sickness? 11 Likes 3 Shares |

They are challenging your locus standi to sue but you are here talking about 25%. It is only a valid candidate that can duly contest an election. The preliminary objections filed by APC, Tinubu and INEC will dismantle the petition. So don't just put your mind on this petition. It is gone 1 Like 1 Share |

LeoDeKing: A people who can believe whole heartedly that the person in Aso Rock is an imposter, from Sudan by the name JibrinAlsudan and not Buhari just because Nnamdi Kanu said so, will whole heartedly believe that Peter Obi came first and not third just because Peter Obi claims so, since very much that today most Igbos see Peter Obi as being greater than Nnamdi Kanu and Ojukwu combined. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

floret23:Yes we can but with cutlass and gun, so that Ogun can kill you on time for the continuous lies that Obi won. How can a man who only had vote in south east won an election. A man who is not recognised in the core north. A man with PhD in rigging 97%,93%,88%,83% and 78% in the east where voters were suppressed and humiliated once you voted other party. Please arrange our meeting point so that you can serve as a lesson to obstinate and recalcitrant Igbos , who wanted to rule by force. 1 Like 1 Share |
