The allied forces led by the US didn't use nuclear weapons against the Nazis to beat them. The allied only used nuclear weapons against Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to force an unconditional surrender. pls read ur history books.
The allied forces did the major fighting against Hitler in western Europe thereby controlling West Germany with few casualties leaving east Germany for USSR. The USSR lost 27m troops just to push the Nazis back. This is the costliest victory in history. On the other hand the US lost less than 400k troops to defeat the Nazis in western Europe.
As for nuclear weapons against the Japanese in Asia, the Japanese wanted a conditional surrender so the allied nuked them for total surrender. Even Japan that was nuked did not lose upto 3m soldiers & civilians combined.
So without the allied forces the USSR couldn't have been able to resist the Nazis, maybe they would've lost their total population of abt 100m completely.

What allied ? The USA nuked Japan, it was solely the USA and the USA alone. Lol same Nazis that defeated France and great Britain in just six weeks ....
