Yea but it costs something to do it. I bought these things not knowing we had moved from the Blackberry era when we would just take 500 naira to computer village and unlock our phones. Look at the value of these phones (including LG and others less than 20k): what can I make from them to warrant spending even more money? This one that Nigeria people are so determined to buy every item at next to free so that seller will go bankrupt. Such a shame
That's the country we live in, everyone is out there to extort the next man close to them. If you want to buy any used iPhone, just tell the seller to reset the phone right in front of you before you pay.

I use an old generation iPhone SE. I got it for only N30k. I’m a crypto guy so I run apps like meta mask, Binance, trust, discord, phantom. Not just that, I also use Social media heavily. These are all high end apps. The phone runs all of these apps smoothly. Never lagged.

If you try what I do on most mid range android there’s a high probability that it’ll start hanging after a while. Only high end android phones can run all conveniently.
Let me also add that it takes very okay photos.

So why should I splurge over a hundred grand on an android when I can carry out tasks more efficiently on an iPhone 6 or SE which is around 30-40k?
