These people should be very careful considering the delicate nature of this case.

Delicate to who? Nothing is more delicate than IPOB killing security operatives and US diplomats staffs, you should be more worried about Monday sit at home, imagine sitting at home today first day of the week

We all know why LP is advocating for live coverage so that mamood script will not repeat it self... We need transperancy in that judicial process thats all.
nah the exact reason is slightly above your own comment where someone was already threatening the life of the judges and their children. No smart Judge will allow such a sensitive case to be Livestream. There isn't anything Mahmood this or that. They will all have their days in court and if the INEC chairman had done anything wrong , it will be pronounce. All this emotional stuff won't work

I dont know why this election thing is overly emotional to some people especially the south easterner. This is beyond the hate for Tinubu or Buhari. This is something else.

I just checked the twitter page of ChannelsTV where this news was posted. And the first comment that appeared in the comment section says alot. Infact it mirrored the exact reason why the tribunal refused to grant the live coverage. Imagine someone threatening the lives of the judges and their family.

A random mad fellow who is very confident to threaten the family of the judges, publicly; can also harm or kill the witnesses who are going to testify.

Most of them are first time voters and they dont know much about the voting demography cutting across the regions in Nigeria. So Nigeria seemed to end where they are and so the winner in their enclave is expected to be the winner everywhere.

Secrecy favours your Buharideens in their efforts to use old and frail Tinubu to renew their stay in Aso Rock.
That's why open court is likened to BB Naija show.
Court room process shrouded in secrecy is lethal to justice.
Without justice, Nigeria 🇳🇬 is heading to the final rocks.

Appoint someone to appoint someone to become president of Nigeria; after appointing court judges over the years in preparation for this. That's what is going on.

Justice Haruna, the courts should be an embodiment of transparency not a place of opacity and darkness.
The Ghanian presidential tribunal and Kenyan presidential tribunal all transmitted live proceedings.

What exactly are you guys trying to hide? Ghana-must-go bags under your desks? We shall see.

Nigeria is a pathetic joke! That’s why some stinking, bigoted vermin will rig an election and electoral process, then still have the temerity to be running their mouth on media, confident that they have the judiciary in their pockets as well!

Your reason not to live stream is not above the collective Will of the Masses to view the court proceedings in black and white

"If" is a conditional statement and not a threat. Also the clause is premised.

You're a full-fledged idiot. A bloody bastard, that's what you are. Next time you open your God-forsaked shithole to refer to anything concerning the south east again, the fate that has been befalling the middle belt will befall you.

Revolution can't be successful in Nigeria

The past protest should have thought you that

The North was peaceful during the ENDSARS riot because their son is the President

Have you forgotten the protest that took place in the South West and North during Jonathan tenure but the South South and South East was peaceful?

During the Naira Scarcity when some people were protesting in the South South and South West, have you suddenly forgotten how peaceful the South East was with people there supporting the cashless policy because they felt it will help their son to become the president?

Do you think Westerners will partake in any protest to remove their son from power?

Asiwaju will rule Nigeria till 2031, accept reality and safe yourself from depression and HBP.
There are so many liberal mumus in south west.

Don't be surprised if these liberal mumus who haven't learned anything joined mumu protest.

Hope the opposition particularly the Labour party and it's supporters can smell the coffee and begin to prepare their minds to be sworn into the office of the opposition.

The court process is certainly consequential in establishing justice and reforming the institutions of democracy but honestly it will be a miracle if the courts will change the outcome as declared by the INEC.

You are a big fat liar. There was no protest in south south. You guys are just evil, all in abid to push an agenda against the south east you would resort to lies. Even in the north with the exception of Kaduna where sponsored protest happened there was none in the north. Dude people like you deserve to be arrested by DSS and left to rot in their gulag

There was significant unrest in Edo, and I think Delta. I remember that a few banks were burnt down, and some youth killed in Benin.

I don't think you're as smart as you think you are. How did you manage to reduce the statement there to a threat to the judges families by the poster while excluding the stated instrument of threat embedded in the statement.?. If you say he threatened the judges, therefore you agree that the APC and Buhari cum Tinubu are instruments to deliver harm.

Secondly, I don't think you know the meaning of emotional. If you do, you'll understand the Southeast has never been emotional in political support of a candidate. Rather, the Southwest is a region that it's people can NEVER reason objectively. Thier decisions are always clouded by emotions. Besides arears that voted on religious sentiments, point one state that Tinubu won outside the Southwest !!!.

Igbos are pompous no doubt but not emotional. Especially on issues with serious consequences like politics. On the other hand, you can't separate the Yorubas from Tribalism, betrayal and cowardice. It's a known fact to the rest of Nigerians.

Even funnier when you realize that the crying man was the one who killed regional governments in Nigeria cos He thought his people were in control.

As expected!

The day they banned phones from the courts was the day I knew they weren’t going to allow live broadcast of the proceedings.

But on a more reasonable note, the PEPC allowing for live broadcasts would have led to ripple effects on all Election Tribunals across the country which would have led to some form of chaos.

Live broadcast or no live broadcast, all we ask for is for justice to be done and our mandate recovered.

Again, Live broadcast or no live broadcast, Obi is coming.
