Isaiah 1:18-19 says "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"

God is a loving and reasonable father, He want you to come and commune with him, reason with him concerning your case. He is holy and wants you to be holy like him.

1 Peter 1: 14-16 says "As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy..."

But don't forget that the perfection of holiness in a man is Jesus Christ, you need him.
