Hi fellow Nlanders, This question has been bugging me ever since and i wanted to get your views on why we nigerians dont read much. Youths in particular are fond of this trend. Reading is a central system in a countries development by we dont imbibe this culture, What is your take on the reasons for poor reading habits amongst youths in Nigeria. Is it the fault of the Government, Parents or the media,

As per your question,
It all about priority
Many young 1s believe U need no education to hit the Nigerian pinnacle
Either have a gun &shoot your way to glory under the military
Or as its fashionable now, go into politics& rig elections
If you cant do any of the above nor can work in a bank/telecoms/oil industry,
You become a musician. shocked shocked shocked shocked
