i hav reported this issue over and over on this forum ,but thank God for d judiciary,i like Fashola but his attitude towards d plight of common man is very unfair with his agents like,LASTMA,KAI,LASSA e.t.c, he does not care what happens to them, e.g he does not want hawking on the street,so what he does is arest them (o.k),take them 2 alausa in a black maria and impose fine and if u can not afford the fine then u are on ur way 2 kirikiri prison (not o.k), the truth is that that person hawking does not hav a job if he has why hawking  . LASSA came one day to cary my daughters board that she uses for after school lesson just because they found it outside, i questioned them they said is been use 4 advert,i tried 2 explain but they are not ready 2 listen they ask me to go and pay N15,000 b4 it can be released.  LASTMA, shd b made 2 direct traffic, not 2 arrest that is why they hide when on duty post so that no one wil see them,but immediately u stop 4 pedestrain 2 cross d road they show up to arrest u the next thing u are fined,Fashola might meant wel but his agencies are corrupt and wicked especially the so called KAI they can destroy anything |

Enforcing laws in Nigeria is hard, no thanks to the military. The average Nigerian with warped and selfish thinking They cross highway, when there is a pedestrian bridge, get arrested by KAI, then curssss Fashola and his men. They throw away all there rubbish and dirts from there jeep in the middle of the road and drainage, when there is flood, they blame Fashola and his men. They refuse to obey the traffic light , and get arrested, then curse lastma and Fashola. No matter the excesses of this guys, not having them is a worse trade off. |
