Please, someone more sensible than I am should put me through it. If at all there is someone more intellectually capable than I am, they should please help me out with this puzzle. I'm tired of arguing with Keke riders, bike men, lousy businessmen and women, and a bunch of unrepentant ignoramuses on the internet. I need someone with full sense this time to explain how an announcement Tinubu made by 12 p.m. on May 29th started taking effect by 4 p.m. the same day. Can someone tell me how the fuel subsidy that was yet to be implemented made fuel prices skyrocket from 177 naira to 620 naira in just three hours? How did an announcement by Tinubu, who at that time had yet to see the furniture in Aso Rock, cause long queues in Eleme, Rivers State? How exactly was a mere unimplemented statement able to have caused terrible traffic congestion in Oshodi? How? I ask, How? These are the kinds of questions that students should research for their undergraduate projects. Questions and topics that AI's ChatGPT cannot answer. The simple answer is that Nigerians are plain w.i.cked! We are already ready to exploit opportunities when they arise. This is not a matter of Tinubu, nor is it a matter of fuel subsidies. This is plain evilness of the heart. Remember the cash scarcity problem? This was the same thing that POS agents did. Immediately they sensed that there was an opportunity, and their conscience blacked out. The wicked people started drafting their building plans with the blood and sweat of Nigerians. Many of them started envisioning duplexes, bungalows, two-story buildings, three sitting rooms, and two parlors with the toils and tears of their fellow countrymen. I hope they achieved those dreams. I hope they were able to make those achievements. I hope they were able to erect those structures. Because those periods marked the end of prosperity in their lives. Well, unless Apostle Joshua Selman does a thorough cleansing and deliverance on their lives, the groans and lamentations of the poor Nigerians they inflicted pain on will remain a curse on their lives. Petroleum marketers, be warned. You have the chance to do the right thing now. Do it. Reduce pump prices, and stop using this slight opportunity to gratify your selfish and wicked selves. 1 Like |
