The political NLC didn't go on strike during the CBN-imposed cash scarcity in the country because they thought the draconian policy would favour Peter Obi even when Nigerians were suffering and denied access to their hard-earned monies. Now that President Tinubu has taken office, Joe Ajaero is pursuing IPOB agenda of destabilizing Nigeria because their candidate lost the election. Nigerians won't participate in that political strike. 4 Likes |

SmartyPants:That was the reason they gave you abi? Is it only the small generators that cause pollution? Before the ban, they were already accusing generator importers as people sabotaging power so don't make it look like we are kids. |

NLC is making sense. What BAT mobilized crowd against will stand against his government too. They didn't care to listen to GEJ that period just because of their selfish ambition. 1 Like 1 Share |

SpecialAdviser: But how does banning only small gens and allowing the bigger ones disincentivize the generator importers from supposedly sabotaging our electricity? If anything doesnt that imply more sales of the bigger gens? As far as im concerned we have no reason to doubt the official reason. And if there was a hidden motive it certainly wasnt to improve electricity and they never said so. |
