According to a report by Vanguard news, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to the Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 elections, has criticized Festus Keyamo SAN, the former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, labeling him as a habitual loser. Shaibu's comments came in response to Keyamo's recent dismissal of a lawsuit by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.

Shaibu recalled that prior to the election, Keyamo had submitted a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), and other anti-graft agencies, containing baseless allegations against Atiku and urging them to arrest and prosecute him. However, Keyamo quickly filed a lawsuit seeking an order to compel the agencies to take action on his petition, without allowing them the customary three days to respond.

Justice James Omotosho dismissed Keyamo's lawsuit as lacking merit and imposed a N10 million fine on him. Shaibu expressed his astonishment at Keyamo's behavior and questioned his appointment as a Senior Advocate. Despite clarifications that the allegations against Atiku were unfounded, Keyamo disregarded reason and behaved like a political opportunist. Shaibu emphasized the disgrace Keyamo brought upon himself and noted that he had served under Chief Gani Fawehinmi, suggesting that Keyamo's actions were a disappointment to Fawehinmi's legacy.

Shaibu further highlighted Keyamo's history of losing high-profile cases while working as a prosecutor for the EFCC. He pointed out Keyamo's failures in cases involving Governor Timipre Sylva, Femi Fani-Kayode, the Lagos State House of Assembly during the Tinubu certificate scandal, and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole. Shaibu asserted that their earlier prediction of Keyamo's defeat in the frivolous case was confirmed, given his track record as an unsuccessful EFCC prosecutor.

Disregard Shaibu’s statement!

Dude is only trying to impress Atiku.

He knows his efforts are already in vain and just trying to put up the last fight of a dying horse.
