Business names are expected to file annual returns not later than 30 June of every year. Please note that annual returns are always filed on preceding year basis. For instance, you will file the annual returns for the year 2022 in the year 2023.

If you register your business in the year 2021, you will not file annual return for the year 2021 but you will file for the year 2022. This means that your first annual returns will be due for filing in 2023. If you don’t want to pay penalty, you will need to file not later than 30 June 2023.
