In Garoua, Cameroon, commercial motorcyclists are protesting the removal of petrol subsidy. They are expressing their dissatisfaction in a blend of Fulfulde and French, and criticizing President Tinubu.

This situation reinforces the assertion in Nigeria that a significant portion of the supposed petrol subsidy funds are utilized to bolster the economies of neighboring countries.

If you understands the language you can translate for us. Thank you

How are we sure this isn't a sponsored protest to justify the removal of subsidy

This is politics, so anything can happen. I don't trust politicians

It’s not bro..

Many of those west Africa countries don’t buy their fuel. It’s the smuggled ones from Nigeria they’re buying cuz it’s cheaper..

As at yesterday, fuel was 800 in Benin. Something they’ve been buying 300/400 for years..

Something that has been going on for years is now sponsored?
Subsidy is gone for good so you wailers should adjust.

Nigerians should be commending Tinubu for having the balls to do the right thing unlike the spineless Jonathan who couldn't act like a man.

Subsidy was a drain on our economy.
