Sales Assistant Needed

We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include interacting with customers, providing product recommendations, handling transactions, and maintaining customer records. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities and maintaining positive business relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers, offer assistance, and respond to queries about products and purchases.
- Provide recommendations based on customer needs or preferences.
- Introduce promotions and new products to customers.
- Operate cash register, handle cash payments, and process credit card transactions.
- Handle all customer inquiries and orders efficiently.
- Document sales by updating customer records.
- Stay up to date with sales trends to provide better service and achieve sales targets.
- Alert management about potential opportunities within the store environment.
- Sell products and services by presenting solid arguments to prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Analyze the market's potential, track sales, and provide status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a sales or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling transactions.
- Detail-oriented and organized.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
