Abi1985:Rights as in? Jesus Christ is a King with a Kingdom who came to invite you by offering you citizenship and Law to abide by with the promise that after you attain God's Righteousness you will be given all these things-- the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God including Heaven) shall be added to you. So, if by rights, you mean the blessings and rewards associated with the Kingdom of God, then achieving God's righteousness should be your #1 goal. |

Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Nobody: 7:26am On Jun 08, 2023 |
HacheNoire: No twisting Bible here: you do have rights under the authority of Jesus Christ. If Jesus is Lord: under your Lord: he had given you right if you operate under his Lordship. E.g even in the United Kingdom, every UK citizens have the right to vote. |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Nobody: 7:28am On Jun 08, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: Under the authority of Jesus Christ. Since Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and we are under Jesus Christ since He is our Lord. What rights do you have under the Lord's authority in his Kingdom. Just as every adult Nigeria have the right to vote under the Nigerian laws? |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 7:29am On Jun 08, 2023 |
Abi1985:1. The rights are the blessings and rewards spelt out by Jesus Christ in His Law. |

Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 7:32am On Jun 08, 2023 |
Abi1985:Those rights in the Kingdom of God belong only to those who sought first the Kingdom of God(Holiness) and God's Righteousness as commanded by Jesus Christ. They get their prayers and hearts desires met by the Father, by Faith they are able to move mountains and are blessed with all the signs that follow those who believe, they do works on Righteousness and at the end are granted the reward of Heaven. 1 Like |

Kobojunkie: Yet you have never answered the question what is righteousness |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 4:32pm On Jun 08, 2023 |
hashtagged:I have done that many times. You lot never pay attention is what. Righteousness has to do with being approved by God Himself for the doing of good works that are acceptable to Him. The works the righteous do as outlined in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 - which boil down to feeding of God's Sheep, and taking care of God's sheep As for who can be approved by God? Only those who are first holy — Law abiding citizens of the Kingdom of God as judged by God's own Law — qualify to be approved by God as righteous. |

Kobojunkie: I am asking you? . You are the one who said we can be righteous by being holy. I want you to explain further or are you only good at asking questions and answering none? |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 4:58pm On Jun 08, 2023 |
hashtagged:Asking me what exactly? 2. I didn't say it. Jesus Christ is instead the one who said it when He urged you to seek first the Kingdom of God(holiness) and then God's righteousness. You need to pay attention to Jesus Christ. 3. Jesus Christ urged you to become Holy even as God in Heaven is Holy, did He not? So, are you saying Jesus Christ did not mean you are in fact to become Holy as He commands you to? |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by hashtagged(m): 5:06pm On Jun 08, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: So how do we be holy and righteous? That's the first question I asked but you kept on twisting it. How do we be holy and righteous? |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 5:11pm On Jun 08, 2023 |
hashtagged:1. Holiness is about breaking free from the clutches of sin, and as Jesus Christ explained in the context of John 8 vs 31 - 44, you do that by living your life in continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, God's Truth. It is through this, the knowledge of God's Truth, that you are then set free from slavery to sin by God's Truth, and become a Son of God, a Holy and acceptable vessel in which God's Spirit is able to reside - John 14 vs 15 - 23 - inside of. |

Kobojunkie: Perfect God has revealed this to you. We ourselves cannot be holy by our own power except we submit, he helps our infermities. Have a blessed day brethren |
Re: What Are Your Rights As A Christian? by Kobojunkie: 7:19pm On Jun 08, 2023 |
hashtagged:Seems you do not understand what it means to be holy then. □ To submit means to accept God's Law and Trust in Him □ To become Holy means to live one's life in compliance with God's Law .i.e to become a Law abiding citizen of God's Kingdom. Just as the righteous men of Old whom God gave a similar commandment to -- Be ye Holy because I the Lord am Holy --where able to achieve holiness with God's Law, we too are called to do exactly same. And this is all done by our own will to submit and obey God, same as the men of Old were able to. |
