The cross has been turned away from being left overnight at more than half the churches requested, but has never been turned away from spending the night at a bar or nightclub in 55 years around the world

This part caught my attention and should worry any Christian

So taking up one's cross to follow Jesus could also be in the literal sense, because it takes for someone to deny himself to be able to be carry a real cross to preach the Gospel as in the instance of Authur Blessitt, and that is one of the requirements for anyone to follow wants to follow Christ as Christ Himself said.

Hence after I decided to deny myself and forsake everything, and began to live the life of the Spirit where it was all about God, these were the kinds of people and stories that really inspired me.

They remind of the selfless and sacrificial lives lived by Christ and His apostles much more than those just merely preaching on the pulpits.

So despite some calls for me to start a church, fellowship or begin to hold crusades by those who were inspired by my preaching, while I was preaching on the streets at th time, I wasn't really moved or keen even though it will be more prestigious and easier for me to do so.

Instead i actually had a dream to begin preaching with a cross and that was inspired by such selfless cross-preachers.

I'd even go ahead to pay a carpenter in full to make a real cross for me then, but for some strange reason it didn't work out, as the carpenter was no where to be found after he purchased just one of the two 4×8 planks I had paid for.

That was how my dream to preach while carrying a cross was left hanging.

However it was about the same time I had an explosion of revelations from God which got me preoccupied and distracted me a bit from that disappointment, so it suggested that preaching with a cross wasn't exactly God's plan for me, hence the setback.

That dream though is still very fresh on my mind and haven't given up on it, so no matter how high, far or wide God takes me, I hope and pray to still achieve that my dream of preaching the Gospel of Christ while carrying a cross before I depart this earth.

Sadly, your religious preaching rituals have nothing to do with God or Jesus Christ, to begin with. And his carrying around a symbol created by the Catholic church centuries after the fact was nothing more than a marketing/advertising ploy for the brand.
