This oil has been a problem to us than a blessing

Because we use oil money to fund and finance things that by rights should be funded by taxation really.

Oil money is never enough because the oil price is never high enough for a large nation like Nigeria. We are not as small as Saudi, or UAE...or even Libya. We are too big for the oil revenue we do get.

That's why we must diversify, and more and more Nigerians must pay income taxes.

Those countries forgoning Nigeria crude to Russia crude is pitiable because they would still incurred more cost in refining the heavy sulphur content compare to Brent oil
