But LP won the state during the election.
PDP was declared winner wrongly.
LP should able to claim the state back.
But most LP candidates were illegal candidates.

Hence the candidate that got the third highest votes in the election is likely going to be the governor.

INEC said they didnt supervise the primary elections of LP in south east as stipulated by law.

That means all those primary elections were illegal and not recognize by law and all the candidates that came out from those primary elections were nullified and null and void.

But the court followed the law of their party APC in that regard and declared him as candidate.
When he contested as presidential candidate, the law of their party allowed him to return as their party senatorial candidate if he lost at presidential primary election. The same rule applied on akpabio candidacy. Its APC rules.
I think APC did the law to encourage many many of their members to participate in their presidential primary election to make it appeared robust.
