Until Our Youths Come Together, Nigeria Is Irredeemable by Success1981: 6:06pm On Jun 10, 2023 |
The biggest tool and the final card the leadership have continued uaing is dividing the youths along ethnic lines. That tool is their last card when other cards fail and that has never failed them. However, the youths can still unite to fight this system that have continued to waste the lives of tens of thousands of Nigerian youths on yearly basis. The youths really can stop this impunities 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigeria is redeemable without the 5% children of hate. They are not ready to consume the humble pie and accept the reality of today that PBAT is our president. That insha Allah, PBAT would spend 8 good prosperous years that would transform our Nation. That Obi-diot Calamity would never befall us as a Nation That the Obi-diots would wail, and labour in vain for Obi-diot. On truth we stand. |

For now the best line of action to take is regional governance. We should restructure so each region can rule themselves. Nigerian Unity is a utopian dream. |

mrvitalis: Yes we can, and one day will. Just that for now, our heads are stuck in the stupid ideology that if we were to say, "Come, Nigerian youth, let us come together to make bricks and fire them thoroughly, and let us build ourselves a Nigeria with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves", some LORD will come down to see the city and the tower, which we built and look at us and say, "Look, the Nigerian youth are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language there so that they will not understand one another’s speech." We watch America, China, Russia, Europe, building towers to get to the moon and mars and no Lord is scattering them anywhere, and we will one day realise that we can too, once we abandon this stupid thinking that the Lords will scatter us if we dared. Success1981: Below is your post from another thread 👇 Success1981: Let me guess, Nigerian youths should come together to resist the suspension and arrest of Emefiele, right? You’re angry we have a president that has started working from day one. You’re angry a very useless and corrupt Emefiele was suspended and arrested to give account for his wrongdoings. You even think Emefiele’s arrest is a skit but you want sensible Nigerians to join hands with you to defend Emefiele, right? Guy, you’re the joker here. This thread should be moved to the jokes section. We are not going to join you in bringing down a president that has shown capacity from day one. We are going to support our president to succeed and not bring him down. For a lot of us in Nigeria, all we want is good governance irrespective of who is there. That’s why a lot of Nigerians across party lines including elected lawmakers from LP and PDP are throwing their weight behind Mr. President for the good calls he has made since he was sworn in. It is only haters like you who don’t want the gif of the country that are against all the good decisions of the president. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis: Country, nation, same applies, especially if you do not desire to limit yourself. In fact, if only members of this forum use those principles that other nations and countries have used, the entire Africa would change its name to Nigeria. |

mrvitalis: Nairaland, which I've equally proposed, is not a country nor nation neither and nor is Africa! Stop limiting yourself. Jesus did greater things with just 12 people coming together. |

mrvitalis: I should tell the Jesus that said "bear your own cross" to come and bear the cross of fixing Nigeria for us? Sorry, but that level of stupidity is far beyond me, and those who reason as you suggest have not yet suffered enough from their own stupidity. When we suffer reach, we will stop being irresponsible and fix our Nigeria ourselves or just die in our ignorantly self imposed sufferment. |

seunmsg: That is not what he said nor meant, and saying it is is how we divide ourselves through lack of understanding and the charity to even bother trying to. He said "99% of buhari's appointees were stupendously corrupt", which should be a clue to understanding what you posted, and he's not calling youths together to defend Emefiele, but that proper due process should be followed, which does not seem to be the case here. If it were, Buhari would have been arrested too since he approved whatever Emefiele did. |

marlow1962: It is not going to be easy. Fela would say, "if dem want to knack your head na from back", and heads are being knacked from back through the miseducation of our youths by schools being ill-funded so we don't learn to reason properly or work together in teams. We are however very fortunate that we can come here to the Nairaland University to learn from one another, though one must admit we all seem to all be teachers instead of students. But the future is bright. This generations' time will soon pass and we will become worm food, and future generations will arrive here and read what this generation said and critique the stupidity and applaud the sense and learn to do better than we are currently doing or not doing. budaatum: |
