Even those who sold off their lands back in Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo states are now in Lagos yelling “Awa Lagos” and “indigenization”.

They were still in their villages when the people they are now insulting busied themselves purchasing and painstakingly sand-filling the swamps of Amuwo Odofin, Lekki, etc.

No be their fault. Na Igboman and other ethnicities, who refused to listen to good advice to the effect that they will do exactly what they are doing today. Even Ojukwu, the man who saw tomorrow, warned them.

But, the day these charlatans succeed in waking people's consciousness to their shallow-mindedness, and they finally begin to recall their assets and investments from Lagos, there can only be one loser. That loser is Lagos and its neighboring states.

Chinese company in Ado-Odo/Ota local government has been forcefully and illegally annexing 14 villages in Ogun state, with villagers and farmers crying for help. A former village headmaster named Mr. Solomon Gbadebo Ajose have come online to solicit for help from good minded Nigerians. He also accused the area commander of Agbara Area command in Ogun State of conniving with the Chinese and also attempting to kill him.

Reactions have been pouring in on why will a Police officer saddled with the responsibility of protecting the citizens collaborate with a foreign to take over lands.

Authorities must look into this.

The government should not allow any foreign company or persons own such agricultural land. Chinese were stopped from doing this in US. This is wrong and will kill local farmers. If it’s not technology foreigners are bringing in then they should be restricted.

The worst part is that they party with the money and mock hardworking Igbos, later they will start looking for indegenous protection laws to reap where they did not sow

It’s basically greed and extreme capitalism. And it’s happening all over Africa with governments selling all the arable lands to foreigners from China, EU, India, America, UK, Arabs, etc., for mechanised agriculture. If they’re not stopped - all the arable lands on the continent would be sold off to foreigners in the next two decades.

These leaders are terrible and they lack foresight. Why not educate these farmers on modern agricultural processes, subsidise them and create programmes that would make loans available to them? You can just keep kicking people off their ancestral lands - for foreigners. These leaders are allergic to thinking about the long term consequences of their actions.

Shut up. What do you know about “the white man” apart from what they brainwashed your head to believe?

The same white man that enslaved your ancestors for centuries and then invaded and burned down your cities and kingdoms, destroyed your working administrative systems and then forced their nasty religion and language and systems on you before looting your natural resources in their 80 year colonial rule?

MUMU SLAVE. ALL BRAINWASHED BY YOUR SLAVE MASTER.

China has never invaded, colonised, or killed Africans.

Even when you look for development finance as an African nation today, China loans you at 3 to 5% interest while your “angelic white man” nations charge 30% minimum.

CHEW ON THAT FOR A SECOND.

Ode.

You can disagree without insult. Maybe your relatives were packed as slaves. As a descendant of a former slave trader, I have to unfortunately let you know that it was how things were back then so get over it.

If you've ever interacted closely with the two , you'll know who is a better person between a white and chinese. Whites can still forgive, China will never forgive if you default. Loan is business so whatever interest given to you, its left for you to take it or find another option.

Slavery was normal in that era, nobody's fault we didn't advance enough to go conquer other kingdoms across the Atlantic. Even the blacks sold their people into slavery to the whites.

Once again nobody stopped black africa from exploring other lands to conquer.
