The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Isin Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly in the 2023 elections, Ambassador Alabi Solomon Rotimi (AMSRA), on Thursday, was honoured with a merit Award of Excellence as an Icon of Igbomina within the political circle of Kwara.

Ambassador Alabi, who is also chairman and Chief Executive Officer at ROSMA Consult Ltd was presented the award by Igbomina Students’ Union, Kwara state Polytechnics chapter in commemoration of her 30th years of existence in the citadel of learning.

Igbomina Students Union is the apex body of students organisation recognised across Igbomina clam globally.

Presenting the Award, Engineer Emmanuel Ayobami Adedoye said Alabi Solomon Rotimi was being recognised for his illustrious contributions to the advancement of Igbomina legacies as well as his impacts in community development and social services.

Ambassador Solomon Rotimi Alabi, who was represented by one of the PDP's youths and head of Media department for the 2023 campaign council, Comrade Sholyments Olusegun Olusola, commended the student body for projecting Igbomina culture and sustaining the standing legacy of our heroes past .

Alabi while making financial donation to support the union also urged Ignomina students in Kwara state Polytechnics to continue exhibiting principle of virtuousness and piousness ,being an Ambassador of the larger igbomina nation worldwide

Alabi also appreciated the executives and stakeholders of the union for the recognition, saying identifying with the people is the major cardinal of his promises as politician and philanthropist.
