THE GLUTTONOUS TITANS

From afar, we watch
as the gluttonous titans gather once again to share the spoil of war.

Their promises about turning water into wine have been most discomfiting to the people. In fact, it has become a mirthless song. Midway into their eating frenzy, they become stuffed with food and even forget themselves. Eating, for them is the essence of life. They must continue in it till they breathe their last.

On the dinning table,
there is no tribe, no religion, no political disparateness.The locus is on 'eating'. It is bad manners to be eating and talking at the same time.

During initiation into the cult, every activity must come to a halt. Even the birds will fly with hungry belly from the savannah and the rain forest to witness the opulent occasion.

After the excitement and merrymaking, only the initiates are on the table. Others are to return to their hole where hunger and starvation is their closest companion.

After watching the costly show, some will be swallowed by the deadly roads. Others will hardly make it back home because of the scarcity of premium motor spirit.

After the jumping and prancing, the chaff is separated from the grain. The praise singers will be left in the dark to lick their wounds. But pride sometimes restrain them from making a detour. It's like a fight against oneself!

The gluttonous titans are enemies of society because they they think through their unappeasable stomach instead of their head. In their endless desire for food, they eat up everything in view including the future of the younger generation.

But their sun shall soon set!
