Tiauna Jackson debuts Jacksmacked, a streamer with a focus on Nollywood

Tiauna Jackson, a young black creative, quickly discovered that despite having degrees from prestigious universities like Chapman University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she was unable to enter certain rooms, obtain an entry-level position at talent agencies, or sell a single script.

After receiving rejection for a number of years, Tiauna Jackson made the decision to take matters into her own hands and started the Jackson Agency, making history as the first black woman to own a full agency. She later became the first black woman to be elected to the Association of Talent Agents Board, which represents the most prestigious agencies in Hollywood, and she was also a co-founder of the Black Agents Network, a trade association for owners of Black Talent Agencies.
