It’s no more a hidden Agenda that it is possible for a car to have two identification numbers which is also called the (VIN) or the chassis number written or inscribed on it. It’s good to note that on its engine bay or drivers door post could not be the same with the one a car scanner will detect when used.

Such could occur when trying to keep hidden the identity of a stolen vehicle, concealing a smuggled vehicle that has no custom duties. And lists more. This the major reason why any car buyer shouldn’t rely on the VIN or chassis number they see physically on the car on its documents too, but rather I will advice such car buyer to plug a a car scanner into it, which will show the actual VIN on the vehicle in question.
