During a seminar in Nigeria, The former world richest man and founder of microsoft, Bill gate, was addressing polio and health issues when he revealed his daughter Phoebe told him he was fortunate to have the opportunity to get to see Rema and burna boy when she learned he was traveling to Nigeria.

While speaking in the seminar in Lagos with Nigerians, Bill gate discussed how Afrobeats has become a global phenomenon.


He said “Of course I’ve been here in Nigeria and I can’t help but mention the amazing creativity that goes on here, and how Afrobeats from Nigeria are popular everywhere.

When my daughter Phoebe heard I was coming to Nigeria, she said, “You’re lucky because you get to see Burna Boy and Rema, so I had to look them up…because I’m so ‘hip’.
