Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has refused to surrender and called Putin "deeply mistaken" following the Russian president's address describing his actions as betrayal.
Prigozhin on Friday accused Russia's military leadership of killing a "huge amount" of his mercenary forces in a strike on a Wagner camp and vowed to retaliate. Russia’s Ministry of Defense denied Prigozhin’s claims.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Russia's "weakness" has been exposed, with a Ukrainian defense spokesperson calling it a "sign of the collapse of the Putin regime."
