•The different factions of IPOB have divergent views of unknown gunmen activities, with one opposing and the other expressing tacit support.

Naptu2, what would you say about the accuracy of this statement on the backdrop of Kanu's over support for their activities, calling them "Angels" and their bloodletting "successful evangelism"?

Unknown gunmen are nothing but political assassins .

It has nothing to do with ipob

Under Buhari many things went wrong just to paint them a terrorist group.

This same ipob never killed Thier people since they have been asking for Biafra, why then immediately Buhari declared them terrorist the killing started?

Political assassins wey dey burst prisoners out of jail and enforce Monday sit at home. How old are you?

Stop deceiving your self, if your country was one built on equity, fairness, justice and the rule of law, there would have been no Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu only said the hard truth the 'one Nigerianist' does not want to hear. Your constitution gives Nnamdi Kanu the right of free speech, and if your government were worried that people were listening to him, they should have asked why

Your constitution also gives the people freedom of expression, association and movement. For 5 years, 2015 - 2020, the peaceful Biafran protester were gunned down in cold blood by your security forces just for exercising their constitutional right to protest for Biafra, you people said nothing. Some of the 'one Nigerianist' even urged the security forces to kill more. In 2016, Amnesty international released a report of 150 peaceful Biafran protesters killed by the Nigerian Army, your government swept it under the table.

Five years of shooting down innocent Biafran protesters, and you people are now suprised that there is violence? What world do you people live in? Your government brought violence where there was none, your government killed its own unarmed civilians, now peace is gone. What then did your government achieve?

Buhari was declaring python dance against people who were doing nothing more than waving Biafran flags on the streets, but the same Buhari never declared any military operation against his Fulani herdsmen brothers killing people across Nigeria

As I said, Nigeria is the only place on earth where people expect peace to come from a mountain of injustice, and thats why there is no peace
Injustice is not fought with Injustice. Majority of the developed countries today has large numbers of disgruntled individuals, who believes that their country is unjust to them.
Biafra has become an avenue for Igbo elements to enrich themselves while setting up other Igbo people for death. The same thing was witnessed during MASSOB days until Peter Obi and OBJ dealt with them. The leader of MASSOB is currently living in a palatial mansion he built on other people's blood. He even started building Biafra University in his village, as no other parts of Biafra deserve it. I believe that will give you a glimpse into their criminal conducts.
IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu founded their organisation with Hate speech and Igbo supremacy view. I specifically warned about the line IPOB was toeing and the disaster that will come out of it. If you check my post here in 2015, I warned that IPOB will turn to what they are currently. It was clear from the outset that IPOB is not planning for peace.
You can't say that someone who is holding a lighter in petrol station is peaceful; maybe because the person hasn't set fire yet. I beg to disagree. Any organisation founded on hatred and hate speech will birth disaster.

And Im sure you never warned the authorities even once when they were shooting down unarmed protesters in cold blood

The Nigerian does not care about what will bring peace, he only cares about what will bring more violence

Nigeria is the 8th most terrorised and violent country in the world for a reason, its a country built on injustice

Where there is injustice, there is never peace

These people talk about 'UGM', Boko Haram, ISWAP and other armed bandits, but rarely will they talk about what is fueling tye violence, or how to bring down violence to the barest minimum

I remember 2015 to 2020 when IPOB was peacefully protesting for Biafra. What did the authorities do? They shot and killed innocent peaceful Biafran protesters, locked them up, tortured them and subjected them to degrading acts

Right here on Nairaland, many people urged the Nigerian security forces to carry on with this human rights abuse, abuse of power and injustice. All they cared about was protecting their useless 'one Nigeria' and anyone who dared to question that unholy union should be shot down and killed

Even former President Buhari declared operation python dance in 2017 and sent Soldiers after IPOB, a group that at the time didnt even have common catapult and had no record of touching anyone. Soldiers stormed Nnamdi Kanu's house, and when he escaped, they said he jumped bail. Soldiers rampaged all over the South East, a very peaceful area with no armed group, killing people in the name of chasing Biafran agitators . Thet even went the extra mile of declaring IPOB, a peaceful unarmed group at the time to touched nobody, as terrorists

Well the peaceful protests have finally ended and have now been replaced by armed groups and violence. The government of Nigeria single handedly brought violence to the South East and caused all the problems there in their reckless bid to crush all voice of dissent

It is only in Nigeria that people expect peace to come from a mountain of injustice

Those who make peaceful agitation impossible, will make violent agitation inevitable ~ JFK

Very true...
End of discussion.

Honestly Nairaland is fast becoming a propaganda channel for spreading misinformation. Also the game of trying to tie IPOB desperately to Unknown gunment. it seems Seun is paid to magnify this obvious false flag Operations going on in the South East in the name of UGM. Mark my words ten years from now most of all these government officials will confess in their role in this false flag Operations, just as Alabi Isama confessed about his role in the false flag operations in Port Harcourt during the Biafran war in his book, while he was trying to attack Obasanjo he unknowingly exposed himself in his role in false flag Operations to make the minorities hate Biafra.

Even 5 percent.

All these Abdools love is propaganda, it's all they've got, it's funny how he opens his epistle with PROPAGANDA and ends up doing the exact thing.

No one can prove this simply because it is non existent. We who are much better informed know that attempts to destabilise the SE (it's still very peeceful, forget the propaganda) arenot internal but by the powers that be at the federal level. The powers that boasted they are the ones running the country's security apparatus. (Soldiers and expatriates) (private hired criminal gangs) and (Boko Haram converted and repentant extremists) we know what we are dealing with.

ur very correct

I remember wen we warned them that wat the soldiers are doing will lead to this present situation but they continued to cheer the soldiers on then..

For their zombie eyes, soldiers can kill the citizens illegally but the citizens cant defend themselves

More stupidity by IPOB morons. So soldiers mostly from the north tortured your members but in order to retaliate, you are killing your own brothers, kings and intellectuals and making your people unable to live safely while everyone in Nigeria is using that opportunity to mock you and asking you to leave their land and go back to your villages? Lol. Who is losing here? Igbos are currently at the worst level they have been since the civil war. You are not welcome elsewhere and your land is not safe for you to live. The Buhari you wanted to hurt is enjoying retirement in Niger while you dunces kill yourselves.

Stupid bragging is in your genes as we all know. Critical thinking is not a skill that is encouraged by your people.

They want to use Agbede to remove Baruwa and put MC Oluom for the post of treasurer and later they will use the same tactics they are using against baruwa now to remove Agbede and put mc oluom for the post of national Chairman.

The way they are shouting it is the turn of Agbede now you will think they like Agbede himself.

I didn't read the thrash written by uninformed poster but the truth and obvious one at that is that 3 things are involved .

1 Endsars crisis followed by killing of unarmed IPOB protesters

2 Establishment of ESN by Kanu

3 Wrong handling of the early crisis by Government especially Hope Uzodinma of Imo State who couldn't use community policing but opted for military intervention which caused unnecessary collateral damage thereby making the people see Government as their enemy instead of partner.

4 Arrest of Nnamdi Kanu.

The rest of the crisis is centered around killing of innocent youths and their misguided vengeance on the wrong people.

To end the crisis can take just 3 steps

1 Stop indiscriminate killing of youths

2 Bring back community based policing

3 Release Nnamdi Kanu and

4 Uzodinma ends his tenure as Governor either after 4 or 8 years. The reason is simply because he is at the center of the crisis whether willingly or unwillingly so it cannot stop with him as Governor.
