So sorry about that. Tag your bank and CBN. They should be able to trace the money. These are the things the CBN is meant to be concentrating on, but no...they're more interested in asking for social media handles. I pray you get positive response. I wish you well. Modified: Some people are here blaming the sister and calling her all sorts of names. Shame on all of you. The deed has been done. Either you proffer a solution or go away. Banks are usually liable in these fraudulent activities. How will a scammer know that a customer has 1m? How will they cart away the money and no bank will be able to trace it? We should ask ourselves these questions. A lot of fraud goes on in the banking sector, but they usually hush it up as soon as possible. Even Emefiele was a fraudulent person. The rot starts from the top. Really sad. 39 Likes 1 Share |

adecz:Omo, people are still falling for it. If the person is young, or even average age, then that person should be knocked on the head because they should be informed and knowledgeable. Afterall what do they do in their phones, internet etc? Don't they hear of such stories of fraud online? Do they not get messages from their banks about not giving out sensitive information? They people one cannot blame and should be concerned about and monitored are our elderly parents. Most are vulnerable and not up to date. Always warn them, tell them of the scams, tell them to inform you when the receive funny calls so you can advice them. 11 Likes 1 Share |

I don't think the bank can do anything, your otp is the last line of defense. Banks invest much to make sure it is secure. Giving out your otp is giving consent to transaction on your account 13 Likes |

Prevention is better than cure Obedience is better than sacrifice Campaign after election. Sit your sister down and let her face the reality on ground, she should stop crying over split milk. Anymore attempt to retrieve the money would result in more loss of money. My sincere opinion and advise/advice 1 Like 1 Share |

Abolodje: And this is a prime example of how vile scammers are. They don't care if you die, they don't care if that was your money, they don't care if it was for surgery for your sick child, they will steal that money and the most painful thing is that they will spend it recklessly, on the most stupid things. The OP said his sister wants to commit suicide yet there is an animal here that is still looking to steal from her. Absolute gutter behaviour🤮 19 Likes |
