CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, has criticized a video showing a man being crushed by police officers in Ekpoma, Edo state, with their patrol bus.

Although the exact date of the crime is unknown, the video shows the victim’s hand and leg being tied as he is forced to lie on the floor.

Residents were interacting with the authorities when the officer driving the bus moved and mounted the victim. He came to a halt as neighbours yelled loudly that the victim was under the car.

n response to the viral video, Adejobi stated that the behavior of the police officers were ‘unpolice’ and that he never believed any human being could do such a thing.

‘’This is unpolice. I dont think a normal human being can do this. To crush a man with a car? This is unbelievable. I have personally contacted the CP Edo on this. We need to take urgent action on the matter. It’s strange to me as a person.”
