All you need to do is engage her in more productive play. Also find time to play with her. No matter how childish, just play with her. Get her toys, building blocks, kids tools, not ipad o. Buy her playdough and other things that may help develop her internal talents. Buy her piano, drum set for kids and so on.
I have a kid of almost same age 2+ and dats what am doing. Play too much o, sometimes, we don't sleep till 11pm or later sef, but I can see development.

I am on this table. My first child and daughter is like this. What I do see channel it to productivity. Anything that will make her busy. House chores, skills books etcs. My daughter tops her class every now and then and I still wonder how she achieve that. We stay in Abuja before age 5 she can read and now, she reads Yoruba too and she's 7, how she did that I don't know because no one has taught her how . Such children are so smart but come handy.

Hi bro, I feel you cus I am currently facing the same situation. What I have been able to do is to do is to patiently observe where her interest lies.
For my girl she likes to paint so I got lots of color pens and painting books and I also paint with her.
That really helps capture her attention and now she painting on her own.
Also, I let her watch some videos on painting on you tube as this gives her perspectives towards enhancing her skills.
Lastly, I am currently introducing her to out door games like tennis.
Its very normal for them to have this energy

Hehehehehe, I don't know why they is training for every other thing except becoming parents. Op youu should be worried if your child is not active or playing. I have a 5 and 3 year olds, I occupy them with educational toys, TV and ample room to tumble and rumble around. Keep your kitchen locked, your tv and electrical sockets out of reach, keep and antiskid mat in the bathroom. Upon all these dey monitor them Wella.

And she never start being with other kids.??


Even if not in a conventional school setting,,, she needs to start at 1yr to socialize with other kids.

She'll be less restless at home once she starts school. Keep her busy with educational toys, games and decent kid's TV programs. There are tracing, picture and coloring books for her age. Also kids computers loaded with software for learning but it has to be durable and difficult to break or scatter.

By the way, those advising you to limit her intake of soda drinks especially coke are right. Hyperactive children become more restless with that.

Are you not happy for her? I like it when my children play alot, sometimes it is full of fun. Just clear and remove dangerous objects from the territory she is playing around and watch her steps.

I have 3 of them like that age 5, 3 and 11 months they can tumble the whole house. even the 11 months hers seems worse I have never seen her or hold to seat for 2 minutes.
But the truth is that it is better for them to be active then being dull.

It's either a phase she may grow out of and that requires patience on your part or she might have ADHD.

People with ADHD are intelligent but hyperactive. There minds are always roving from one thing to another. They can also be very disorganized and that's not for want of trying. They also find it difficult to complete tasks.

I think I suffer from it. There are drugs out there for it but you need a prescription from a psychiatrist. When buying, purchase the generic versions which are much cheaper.

I once took a brain herbal supplement and I became super focused. My room was neater than an Efik or Ibibios room (Those guys are very neat)

Anyway that's my 2 cents.

How is her speech and language development skill?

1. Take her out to a playground and make her walk on the field , play and run around there , you will be surprised and she will sleep when she return back home

2. Also watch her when she start going to school, she will most return home tired and ready to rest
3 . You can keep her in one play with cartoon, YouTube kids videos on your phone or better still you can get her , that will keep her very busy and also brilliant.
