While Apple has stated that collaborative playlists will be available “later this year,” there is a possibility of their inclusion in iOS 17.1.

AirDrop File Transfers Over the Internet:

iOS 17 will enhance AirDrop with NameDrop, enabling users to share contact information by tapping iPhones. However, sharing AirDrop files over the internet will be available in iOS 17.1 or later updates. Currently, AirDrop transfers fail when devices are far apart, but with iOS 17, file transfers can continue if both parties are signed into iCloud, improving Apple’s Bluetooth service.
