How exactly do you leave such an amount of money in an account with transaction cards??!

I have said it here on this forum severally, but many of us don't pay attention... I had to even teach and counsel my enlightened but old parents this!

Don't leave huge sums of money, especially savings in an account accessible by card! Always have a spending account where you solely credit enough money for urgent expenses!... This is just common sense!

Mods should change location to South East.

So that people like helinues, leoDking, omenka, inoki, sangoolukoso, and other nairaland miscreants who are now at large, can come and fill up the thread with their tribal saliva!

I dont know how they do that , my mum's been a victim twice.. is it that they carry all the Banks Atm cards in their pocket to swap.
most of the ATM card they used is either expired or not working at all, these people always operates at banks ATM point that have many people using it..what they do is always looking for people that seems not understand how to use the ATM machine, they will go there with confidence and shows care to assist the person..they will see the pin you put because they are close to you and when you are through they will be the one to eject the card for you not knowing they have swapped the card, you can't detect this immediately because all ATM card is similar in everything, once they get hold of the victims card they will be using different pos to withdraw because pos have more withdrawal limit than using bank ATM.. also they can track them easily if they use bank ATM to withdraw because there is a camera on every bank ATM.

People should be careful about this guys.
They come wit multiple numbers of ATM cards, once they notice an old man or women or a novice they follow them immediately to lineup behind them, as soon as they see his or her card they will bring out same type of card from there pocket, then they will try to offer assistance to there victim, by asking of his pin and same punching the wrong pin then the machine will reject the transection and as soon as the card comes out they swap it and as there victim to see the costumer care service.
Piam them done disappear only for baba to they see debit alarts
Mostly they do this when salaries are paid so people should be careful and also educate there love once.
