My first introduction to Robotics was back in primary school where we were taught the underlying ethics guiding robotics that was drawn in a world robotics convention.

One of such was that Robots will do no harm to humans .



All that's out of the window now with Robots being deployed with deadly effect on the modern battle field .

Killer autonomous AI "seek and destroy" robot drones are now an active component in today's battlefield as we can see in the war in Ukraine .

About 3 months ago, Nigeria launched her first Humanoid robot built as a female and named something like "Omeife", if my recollections are exact.

The unveiling was done in Abuja by a private tech company and I remember following the event online. I'm certain you can get more details online. So it's important to calm down and be sure of things before making comments.

All AI should be made to make promises and vows like these. Atleast they won't fail unlike human.

Once they are made to say it at the beginning, the system would program it and when they are tending towards it, They could pay cognizant to their vows.
