1. Never input any password, username or debit card information to any website or application while on the network. eg. Nairaland.com, facebook.com etc. Because the network operator or even a user like you with malicious intent can view, capture and edit the traffic.
2. Never use the network as an organization, it is too risky to do so, infact place a ban on the usage in your organization.
3. Always scan your devices for malicious softwares after usage, using antivirus.
4. Look before you connect, malicious actor can set up similar network.
5. Note that social media applications and websites claiming end to end encryption are not always true, eg. Whatsapp.
