It's economics, stupid.

Buhari was taking loans to support the naira.
So was Goodluck.

Interms of economics, Goodluck was the worst.

Goodluck was borrowing when Crude oil, our main source of income was selling at $120\ barrel.

All the economics they practiced were unsustainable. For God's sake, we were borrowing to pay salary, borrowing to subsidize fuel?

Obi, the proposed messiah, doesn't even export. His main business is based on importing.

I know this economics pass your assimilation levels, but try to reason. This is now a market economy, what I would expect Tinubu to do, is to support the poorest.

Now, people will find cheaper alternative to imported goods, it's better to export now, than to import, it's our preference for imported goods that's killing the economy.

What would Obi even have done differently?
Borrow more?

What efforts are governments on all levels putting in to ameliorate the intended poverty that would come with this?

No matter how you want to garnish a leader or policy, if you dont put in the necessary work, it would still amount to failure

I expect that by now, governors and other stakeholders be working on making their states viable, instead everyone is resorting to begging and you are here spewing english upandan

Kudos oo

See why you need to educate yourself!

Buhari made a budget for subsidy till July.
He didn't yank off subsidy, it was already ending with Buhari.

It's painful, and I agree...
He should have made provisions, yes...

Buhari made provision till July when was the subsidy removed May 29 the current government is highly insensitive and care for nobody but thier own pocket. Dangote refinery has refused to come on line as commissioned by Bubu. License are been issued for fuel importation again to bring empty vessel and claiming money for for importation another cycle beginning

Trust them typical incoherent evil people, they passed a law The Petroleum Industry Act 2021, that extinguished the payments of petroleum subsidy on the 30th day of June 2023, then turn around & blame 1 man for the law they passed by themselves?

Oblivious ungrateful Citizens of the federation, Obidient Mumus.
