When Abiola was in jail, the Yorubas did not destroy their region to force Abacha to release MKO Abiola. Rather, they used diplomacy to turn Abacha into an international pariah until Abacha was forced to offer Abiola bail (which Abiola ultimately refused). Mohammed Abacha was in prison for three years. How was he released? Kano elders sought an audience with Obasanjo in 2002 and publicly prostrated to him. The next month, the court freed Mohammed. Asari Dokubo was in prison for treason for two years until Niger Delta elders used diplomacy to get President Yar'adua to release him in 2007. What militancy could not do, diplomacy did! I cannot imagine any truly intelligent person saying until you release our son, we will keep destroying our region. Who loses? Fight intelligently, not forcefully. You are cutting your nose and thinking you are spiting those in power? And nobody can even counsel you guys. It is either you know better than those who want to counsel you and start to lecture them, or you insult them. The Yorubas used diplomacy as leverage. Kano people used it. Niger Delta used it. You, too, use it. It will serve you better than this path of self-destruction.

No government can give in to force. The minute they do, they are finished, because others will smell weakness and engage in their own violence.

Oya, insult!

Igbos say they're kith and kin with SSners. So, how come SSners have sense and don't display nzogbu zogbu mentality?

If Northerners observe sit at home, there will be hunger because no food will come to the South.
If SW observe sit at home, the world will shake as per the stock market 😂😂
If SS observe sit at home, country will go on debt as per crude oil production.
Guess the region that's observing sit at home and no one is feeling it 😂😂

I just wanna update you 😂😂😂

Igbos are not as vocal as other tribes in relation to the sit at home, yet they said they denied feeling it. How else is feeling it?

I can tell you with everything in me that this sit at home is being sponsored by the Government and nothing more.
The people that engage in this menace are not from the SouthEast
Simon Ekpa is being used by politicians to inflict total hardship in Igbo land so that investors will not want to go there thereby making the youths and other people in the region migrate to other regions insearch of Greener pasture and which will grow those regions with GDP, development and even increase there population which helps during Election and Census.
A popular politician in Nigeria said that any Insecurity that last more than 24hrs, the Government hands is in it.
