I feel very much for the Nigerian child who has been forced to the streets to sell while his mates are in school. The government has been saying much about getting them off the streets but it only ends in words.

I believe that even the children themselves would want to get off the streets but the harsh reality of the economy will not allow them.

Now if the government is talking about stopping hawking by kids, let them get the right structure in place. If those children are stopped without adequate provision for them,we still get the same result---increased number of criminals who will even be ready to bomb anywhere if only they will get money.
