Report of just a quarter isn't adequate to judge.
Were you not in Nigeria during elections?....they threw kanu under the bus for Obi.....they agreed to stop all agitation until after election in the hope that PO will win.....the period this report covers falls within the time they decided to stop violence hence the low rate in the east
there was low voters turn out all over Nigeria with Lagos getting less than one million votes. Even Kano, kaduna and katsina, it’s the same. That’s part of inec failure

That same week, armed bandits killed over 100 people in two states, Benue and Plateau States. The Lagos/Ibadan expressway media, their Northern cohorts, Reno Omokiri and FFK all stayed silent

And you have to LIE to make your point.

The massacres in Benue and plateau was in the news and even the president Ordered the arrest of perpetrators. The GOC newly posted to Jos moved his base to the affected area....and normalcy has returned.

It you igbos who refuse to acknowledge you have a security issue in your region.... Even if nobody was killed are you happy non state actors rule your region(with active connivance of most igbos)
We have to shout in the north and south west because we have enough on our hands already....we can't accommodate any more refugees.....so we have to shout so all the violence will stop before it gets out of hand

Thanks, this is too bad.
Who’s behind these propagandas against the SE region
🤔

Who else if not the drug lord president select. The old rogue is running mad in his desperation to defend a stolen mandate.

The amount of press coverage given to sit at home where nobody died, compared to Plateau and Benue where many were killed, was totally disproportionate. Far more attention was given to sit at home. The Nigeria you see tiday is 8th most terrorised country on earth with ISWAP in the North West, UGM in the South East, Boko haram in the North East and killer herdsmen and bandits in the North central

How many threads are opened here to talk about ISWAP and North West? Boko haram and North East? NC and killer herdsmen?

But everyday, people will open multiple threads to talk about UGM and South East

Nigeria is a failed country and most places are facing one insecurity challenge or the other

But when people focus on just one area so they can use the insecurity there to play politics, that one is mischief

From this report off channels tv for second quarter 2023 indicates the south east and north east both had the least records of abductions across the nation.

What’s your take guys on this?

This doesn’t add up, let’s discuss.

Good morning 🌞

Hmmm. Where did Channels get their data?

Let me put it this way so you know what is real and what is fiction

A certain character in Finland declared a one week sit at home. During that one week, people were flogged, chased about, some goods destroyed. But no life was lost. The Lagos/Ibadan expressway media and their North cohorts turned it into the worse thing ever. FFK and Reno Omokiri called it terrorism, Simon Ekpa's name was everywhere

That same week, armed bandits killed over 100 people in two states, Benue and Plateau States. The Lagos/Ibadan expressway media, their Northern cohorts, Reno Omokiri and FFK all stayed silent

Their only problem is who sat at home in the South East

Tells you everything you need to know

Most of you shouting SE is safe and getting agitated your region is experience the most barbaric form of modern day slavery are not even living in the East, you people counter by digging out a post Lagos is the worst place to live on earth as if that will fix and undo the rot in the East.
Terrorism always start from innocent & objective "agitations" .. if IPOB is not in check it might blown into what will affect the whole nation. Boko haram is enough lesson so East will continue to be on the spotlight becos a baby monster must not be allowed to grow .. its affecting only igbos today it might affect all of us tomorrow if not exterminated on time.

East are always shouting marginalization @least for once the country wants to make East problem a national issue for resolve .. igbos should be happy

nobody is saying there’s no security problem in the east as was with every part of Nigeria, the point is that the level of abductions and death recorded with respect to insecurity per region is lowest in SE and NE against public projections. Do you get it now or not?

It's a propaganda of course, only that UGM can take you out anytime. Enjoy your sit a home

Same week several killings and kidnappings also happened in SW

The hightened propaganda is because of rapid invest home drive by Igbos after elections.

With what we are seeing this days, most of us igbos believe strongly that they is an intentional media war on the igbos, but the most important question should be "to what end"

brother, this is getting out of hand. The media war is alarming

So, if location A has 200 abductions, but no record of death or gun battle, and B has 2 cases of abduction and 3000 deaths with various instances of gun battle, then by your logic B is more stable security wise because it has less abduction? You guys love thinking while standing on your heads.
