Among them are most of the rogues who laid the template for democratic corruption after the military left the scene. They are the superlooters who grew wings to be fighting the executive via the NGF and pioneers of the bogous pension and post retirement benefits while their states continue to suffer lost.

For the ones who kept themselves clean from the contamination of the murky Nigerian politics like Donald Duke we say kudus.

They stood on the currupt template erected by the military.

Politics used to be about “service to the people “ in civilized climes. Hereabouts it only brings out “the beast in us!”

I was flabbergasted by Duke report. So, he became a governor at 38, and left office at 46. That was amazing. Not only that, he did remarkably well. These are the people that Nigerian youth should be supporting for presidency. He was not under investigation. Kudos to that man. Donald.

Many of them now can live outside politics just because of the institutional corruption they benefit from hence kept bouncing from one political position to the other( governorship, senate/HOR, minister, Diplomatic portfolios, presidential envoys etc).

Nigeria really needs a clean break and freedom from these men of yesterday who are only desperately wickedly about their roles in the country’s future.
though most of them laid the foundation for corruption for their successors but I still sha enjoyed their administration and they all played substantial roles as the first governors in a democratic Regime.

The foundation remains wrong, faulty and defective. This is the same structure of corruption and criminality they are still building on and hoping Nigeria will be better? Never!

And we want the present generation of young people to see and appreciate the dignity of hard work? Kole work o. We are really comic jokers in this country I tell you.

Well said sir. To think that we are just smarting out of the highly hates inglorious and corrupt military governments era of the 3rd Republic just made the matter more sadder for us as a country.
