The same people you claimed abolished slavery, enslaved the entire indigenes of Nigeria. Even till now.

AuschwitzPrefec:
Slavery is still very active in Ibo land.

You can see it in their so-called apprentice system and most importantly in their Nollywood fantasy movies depicting fake royalty.

Slavery was officially abolished in Ibo land in 1951!

A 1920s European account depicted the culture of slavery across Ibo land.

Weak men everywhere. Some men will just look rugged outside but weak inside.

Imagine 17 years old boy killed such a rugged face.

So because the man is the master, he should abuse or molest the boy at will?

There's always a reactions to every action .

It's unfortunate that the master lost his life

Can we conclude by saying that the house boy has won the fight over his Master. He has kukuma received the trophy. Do we do evil that good may come?

So if someone slaps you, the penalty is to kill him? Can you now see how irrevocably stupid you are?
d boy's strength couldn't match d Master's own since d Master was fully developed. So he attacked him unawares & in d course, d master lost his life. D master asked for it undecided. What gave him the arrogant impudent to lift up his hand to strike d boy unwarranted?? Is d boy a donkey or a horse.. self control is a virtue. It's best to keep one's hands to one's self undecided. Sure he has been abusing that Young teenager in that manner that he lost his cool that day & vowed to teach him a lesson no matter the cost. undecided

Don't be silly. What has slapping the boy got to do with KILLING the man? You people should stop giving room for justification of evil.
it has everything To do with it. lipsrsealed it's self-defense. What if d 17 years old boy collapse & died? U can go...well he didn't. Don't forget imrherea possibility. The master should ve kept his hands to himself.

Nigerians and other developing countries, need to learn that slapping people is barbaric. Slap someone in the US and see what will happen. Slap a child and see how quickly you will be jailed. I don't condone the boy killing him, but the deceased should have never slapped the young boy.

Anambra is indeed beautiful

This is murder case, a life has been taken and the boy's life too is destroyed for taking another's life. Then all you can see is beautiful houses in Anambra. This spirit of materialism is a wicked and unsympathetic one. shocked undecided for an Anambraraian Lagosian undecided

Why do you people always justify or cover up evil with unnecessary excuses? There is no justification for killing even if his master flogs him. There are more better peaceful options he could have employed to explain himself to his master or leave if he can't cope with his boss. This is one of the vices in lack of respect to elders in the first place, if the boy has respect for his elders, there is probability this type of crime will not have happened.

If it were in Yoruba land like Omokiri used to say where respect is condoned, respect this boy has for his master might have prevented this type of crime, but since you no dey bow or respect anybody in your own culture, then; be ready to leave with its consequences. Only having respect for elders covers up many evils. There is no justification from any point of view for what the boy did to his elders because his master slapped him
Let's tell ourselves the truth, he shouldn't have slapped the boy but that doesn't mean the boy should not go to jail or face whatever the punishment of murder is....

Hmmm.... 19 year old .... guess the master still believed he was 9. Many more masters around gambling with their lives by slapping house helps anyhow.
