Tonytonex:Please with immediate effect remove Calabar from this list. Presently the town is a ghost town after Omnipolistic Ayade left. Wait till the new governor do something to bring back it's glory days. For now, my people avoid Calabar o! 1 Like |

Tonytonex:The last carnival was totally bleeped. People died when a car rammed into bystanders and there was power outage along the carnival routes...it was dark as hell. Never happened before in the history of Calabar carnival records. Obudu cattle ranch is a no go area. Nothing much to enjoy or see in that place. The cable cars, the jungle canopy walks have been shut down long time ago. Tinapa? Don't just go there. After the Lake Side hotel that is situated there was runned down during the end sars yawa, the place had totally been abandoned. Na snakes and other wild creatures you'll only see there. Right now, Tinapa will be fit to be used for a horror movie scenes. No be joke o. Ayade bleeped the town up big time. Let me tell you something else, do you know for the past 4 or 5 years now most of the top politicians in Cross River state have been coming to Uyo to chill in hotels and have their seminars too. Dem dey full Uyo for weekend like this. Have you heard that Transcorp Hotel in Calabar was put up for sell? 1 Like |
