Tinubu is not getting things right. . It is only a leader that does not have in his heart to steal much but to bear the burdens of the people that can steer the delicate wheel of Nigeria to at least a commendable level at this age.

Truth is that, he is playing with fire. .

You, shut up first!

Obi wouldn't have brought in 2 stupid policies in one swoop.

In Nigeria, eggs can be broken and yet omelette won't be made.

You gullible folks should know that no economic policies have ever achieved any desired result in Nigeria because of mountainous corruption

Nigerians will end up suffering in vain and that's very unfortunate.

Retracting from a bad decision is not a crime. It is now obvious that removing the subsidy is a disaster that can only get worse. The government should as a matter of urgency return the subsidy even if it is to 200naira a litre and from there start proper planning and strategy as to how to remove it and other steps to govern because it seems they are being overwhelmed by the magnitude of governing a vast nation like Nigeria the biggest in Africa and one of the biggest in the world

If we return subsidy, the costs will be higher than they were a few months ago, meaning we could be spending as much as 700 billion on subsidy a month. If not more.

Adding that on top of our debt burden, and our limited revenue from oil is going to impact our economy in ways you won't love.

Okay, let's take another loan from the IMF then, and pay for subsides from it.
So since subsidy stopped have they stopped borrowing? Does borrowing 800 million usd to pay 8000 naira to 10 million household make sense to you? You don't support ppl blindly.

Someone tell Tinubu to use 800 million dollars to float buses using innoson and other local manufacturers. Pls innoson see if you can produce trains like trams which Lagos should have by now and they say he develop Lagos humans thinking like monkeys. Omo yoruba nimi don't bring any Igbo man to this conversation I want the best for yoruba land.

If Innoson motors are good, why are Ibos transporters not using them?

We don't need those substandard Chinese BAIC Motors on our roads.

How can someone who failed in Lagos, Osun, Rivers, Anambra, Abuja, be getting northern votes? Does the north know him more than the south where he came from? These backwards people fell for the Muslim-Muslim ticket scam. Core North should be removed from Nigeria before any meaningful progress can be achieved

If Obi had come in and remove subsidy, it would have been the same thing.

LOL...the honest truth here is that subsidy had to go because we were in such straits that we were borrowing to pay for it (someone even said since 2016).

Plus, oil has never favoured us since 2014.

At the end...LOANS.

We could diversify our economy (APC failed on that) or we could improve our tax to gdp ratio(Nigerians would cry out)...or loans.

Oga, if Obi removed subsidy, or Atiku, I would say the same things I say now. I have been a supporter and reader of subsidy removal since 2012. I woke the ell up then. So, all your idea that I am some timunubo supporter is barking up the wrong tree.

This is not about who we support, it is about preventing a bigger disaster from happening.

Why would u pity people who don't pity themselves.

These same set of people would still vote for whoever gives them cash at hands or represents their religion notwithstanding the person's character or competence.
