NVera:Agbado boys would have realized how stupid they are right now. I have made up my mind to move pass hoping this country will get better. Because i don't understand how a sane human will vote for tinubu after what we went through under buhari. Just look at the economy, isn't this worst than what buhari did to us. Students are dropping out from school, because they can't afford this current hike in fees. Most companies are now downsizing, laying off staffs so they can increase salaries. Life is now that hard, that most girls stay in abusive relationship because there is money. Other stay with a chronic cheat because he has money. Some students who were initially managing under buhari, can't find their next meal. And are now given up to become prostitutes and internet fraudsters. Big nyash is now the new side hustle for girls in the entertainment industry. Obviously the real legit hustle can't afford a fendi bag of 4,000 dollars, or eight a pent house on the island or either a range rover. I'm to see agbado boys now begging online . I won't be surprised if they still vote this man again. 4 Likes |

Omo, this inflation na die oo. The same rice I bought 33,000k two months ago was sold for 47,000k yestersay. I like the way the market woman advise me sha. She said sir, buy half now and lets see if the price would reduce in the next month. A congo of garri was sold for 500 but a big plastic baff was 5500, so buying the big baff na the best because it has about 12 congos in it. |

[quote author=ecolime post=124576992]Even the comfortable, rich and wealthy classes are not finding it easy. The poor definitely cannot breathe. Advice to everyone: 1. Find legitimate ways improve your earnings 2. Cut down your expenses. 3. Rent shops or offices close to your homes. 4. Celebrate only Landmark birthdays in big ways. 5. Get remote jobs. Let it take precedence over onsite roles. 6. Hunt for international jobs. Earning in foreign currency is the real deal now. 7. Anything more than 3 children na problem. 8. Have a side hustle and market your goods/services aggressively online. 9. If your business doesn't depend on electricity, you have no business switching on the generator during the day. For home use, 7pm to 10pm in enough. 10. Lastly, if you work remotely, relocate to cheaper states. You have no business living in Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, etc. unless you own your house. 11. Leave the country if you can. Our leaders are selfish and have no plans for tommorow. You are completely on your own. It will get worse and never better. |

Let's be brutally honest... The poor are not helping matters with their unchecked breeding like rats. The truth is... Citizens need to start making serious adjustments especially those intending to start families. 1 Like |

good afternoon.. My moniker is cloudtrees and BItt. Please I lost my job some Months ago and it's been very hard to survive and frustrating to get another job. I have been depressed and broke and had to be selling some of my things to eat. I never thought things could be this bad for me. I have tried to reach out to few people. I would have asked for your help to start a business but it's hard to trust based on past scenarios. Please I am sincere need of favour and assistance, if God puts it in your heart to help me financially I will be forever grateful. Opay 9067 329 755 Ogunsola |

frozen70:probably you are an igbo woman, because agbado boys can't have this kind of sense at all. But you see the part you said, the rich are the ones suffering more, because they are struggling to sustain standards. I don't believe that part, unless you are referring to someone who is living above his means, especially these young girls of this generation sleeping with wealth married men. Wealth is not sexually transmitted, it will definitely tell on her that she is not rich, once she stops seeing rich clients to sleep with. These rich men i have met, have laud down generational wealth. Don't confuse rich with these influencers who live a fake life. With rich people, who are solving eternal problems in this country. 2 Likes |

If Tinubu contests 2027 he would still win because Nigerians are not ready to sacrifice tribalism for progress. |

Nigerians are funny people. Its like one part of their brain chose who leads them and another part of their brain complain about the standard of living. For morethan 9yrs Nigerians have voted along religion and tribe affiliation, meaning we are not yet through going backwards. With questionable characters in the hem of affair and a country polarised for election purposes, I don't think we are moving in any good direction. We can only hope as religious people we are while yet making sure our tribe succeeds againt all odds even it means dying. So let all man face him own wahala 1 Like |

The only thing that poverty that has been deepened and nationalized through subsidy removal without any socour can do is caused exponential birth rate. Tell me what does poor man needs to brag about if not to celebrate child birth? Now everyone will know why only the rich marry just one wife and few children. |

You're making excuses for the government whose officials continue living flamboyantly inspite of the terrible condition of the country!! pansophist: A section of the population, by virtue of religion, whether they are poor or rich, do procreate with no limits. You can't stop this. As a nation, the rising population has to be planned for. If truly, the nation is not poor, the rich and political class have to be their brother's keeper. |

The problem is that you are the only one seeing the poor...the poor never took responsibility that they are poor. A girl hwaking grounut will yell at you if you called a poor girl. The church is also giving them hope with anointing oil and holy communion bread and wine. Until poor people come out to say they are poor then we Will start digging to know the sourse of their poverty. A bag of rice i bought January this year is almost finishing....i'm so scared. God fight my poverty for me..smile |

Kobojunkie:I share the same idea with you, because it's obvious the poor ain't doing anything to help themselves other than giving birth to children like rats like you rightly said, most times, I will be having pity on some poor people but yet, they are still giving birth to children...!! One common thing with life is planning...as a man or woman, you can manage yourself without kids involved, but once the kids starts coming, responsibilities keeps piling up, because before doing anything, you will have to consider the kids first... Nigerians needs to see reasons why they should minimized the amount of kids they breed, it's neither helping them nor the society at large. 2 Likes |

Middle income earner, I finally decided that we buy food in bulk after getting advice from counsellors as a way yo cushion the realities of this country. My wife and I went to the market and spent about 200k to buy food items. Perishables were stocked in the fridge and that night, no light. Them dey bring am them dey bring am, I don burn like 45k on fuel in less than 5 days. Gen set don pack up yesterday. Gentlemen, the meat and fish I dey boil and smoke since morning dey cry. Tomatoes sef and other perishables don dey soft for fridge. Tell me why one should not leave this country come rain come shine. 2 Likes |

Tobest94:Please, in as much as the government or leaders are to be blamed for most of the woes happening in this country, I honestly think the citizens are not helping matters as well... Straight lightening was provided in an area for development and beautification of the city, but guess what? it was vandalized overnight and all the cable wires stolen. The same thing is happening to virtually all the transformer cables around. We have read about railway vandalization, the one that shocked me most was when they started stealing all those iron rails fixed around drainage, that was when I knew Nigeria was in serious problem. Would you blame the government? Fine, we later heard the guys that stole the cables were sent by some government officials, so that this new state administration can allocate another money for them to fix back the street lightening (Politics). Everything in Nigeria has been politicized, seems like we are in the era of dog eat dog, people are now bold enough to carry out robberies in broad day light. The condition of this country gives me headache sometimes, just today, I've spent roughly 10K just to make a pot of stew, a young bachelor like me, I begin to reason what if I'm a married man with two kids? Omo, people are really going through a lot in this country... 3 Likes |
