Nnamdi Kanu should have been out of detention by now if not for the fact that the Supreme court is saddled with heavy case load and cant hear his matter until September

Three appeal court judges unanimously ruled in October last year that since the Federal government broke international and local laws, including the Nigerian extradition act, by going to Kenya to abduct Kanu and bring him back to Nigeria without due process, they had lost jurisdiction to try Kanu

In effect, not only are all charges against Kanu over, he cannot be charged to court any more for whatever he may have done, or not done in the past.

We know that the federal government is going try to delay this case by seeking another adjournment, but hopefully, the learned judges will see through their ruse and proceed

When Nnamdi Kanu comes out in September, we will welcome him back to the South East as a superstar.
