Lady reportedly beaten to death by clubbers for picking money sprayed in a nightclub, body thrown in a swimming pool In Anambra state.


A young lady identified as miss, Chinyere Awuda has been reportedly beaten to death with her corpse thrown in a swimming pool by group of clubbers in a nightclub for picking money sprayed.

Following reports from Uloka Chibuike on Twitter, the deceased was at Club Mila, a nightclub owned by Cosmila Hotels in Awka, Anambra State, where all of a sudden a man identified as Mr Gabriel Chinemere and his friends who are believed to be clubbers, started beating Miss Chinyere Awuda mercilessly which eventually lead to her death.

Other reports from Daily post said that one of the clubbers accused her of picking money which the fun seekers were spraying on their friend who was having a birthday party.

Meanwhile some others reported that she did not only pick money, but went for bundles of money which a clubber stacked by his seat side, waiting to spray on the celebrant,” a source said.

Uloka Chibuike said on Twitter that Despite efforts made by other people in the club that Saturday night to rescue the girl from the hands of Mr. Gabriel and his friends, they continued to beat and molest Miss Chinyere Awuda in the presence of the club manager, one Steven Junior, who according to reports had instructed the club security guards and bouncers to stand down and instead turn off the lights while the girl was being beaten and dragged outside the club, where her lifeless body was later dumped into an abandoned swimming pool belonging to the Cosmila Hotel.
