Happy birthday to you, I once had a similar issue like yours back in varsity. But the problem with me was that I was under a lot of stress and it really took a toll on me... I first went to church and this other pastor even pointed me out from the crowd and prophesied that he could see that I was under a lot of stress and prayed for me, but as time went by, I became impatient and I went to see psychologist, but with time, I also felt like the psychologist was not helping, I suggested that she refers me to a psychiatrist because I needed someone who could prescribe some stress medications for me and a psychologist couldn't do that... Upon getting to the psychiatrical clinic and undergoing some tests, I was informed that I didn't have any psychiatrical problem and I was referred to a general practitioner. The general practitioner said something interesting to me... He said the problem was with the level negativity that I kept storing in my mind and it was the one that was giving me restless nights... He prescribed me some stress pills along with some sleeping pills, but he told me that I didn't really need them because I was capable of overcoming whatever anxiety I was facing then without any medication. Believe me when I say those medications only made me feel like I was going crazy, they made me feel like my head was spinning, I'd have some sort of hallucinations, and my stomach would hurt so bad when I was hungry... I only took the medications for four days and stopped because I couldn't cope with the side effects. I started trying to think positively about life even though it wasn't easy, but the more I looked on the positive side of life, the more my sleeping routine improved.. I went from sleeping two hours, to four hours, and now I can sleep for 6, 7 hours or even 8. So whatever you're going through, just try thinking positively and seeing things from the positive side of life... Once it’s past 11pm, stay up and start your next day as normal by 6/7 or warreva. Keep busy and take NO NAPS. Exhaust yourself by about 9pm and your body should begin to shut down naturally. As soon as the sleepiness kicks in (past 9 o) then give in immediately. |

Was sick could not sleep for 3 days affected my brain had to use sleeping pills for 2 years had to stop it when just realise the doctor was just bombarding me with drugs sleeping pills is bad don't try u need to detox your dopamine stay away from blue light phone TVs virtual social interaction adopt a sleeping routine go to bed at 6pm Read the bible Trust me it helps even if u don't believe that book will restore your inner light that will make u sleep well. Also redhce your sugar and take horlicks b4 u sleep take a cold bath too. Currently I still suffer that 3 hrs sleep and wake up but just tend to sleep back later in the morning. The job I was doing really ruined my life distorted my sleep pattern and this stupid my mtn night purse and glo night plan to stream tiktok to watch flatearthers and conspiracy theories has affected me mind you just sleep in the morning. |

HacheNoire: Alcohol can make you fall asleep faster. But not certain of the quality of sleep - make sure you take as little as the quantity that makes you a bit tipsy. Not intoxicated, and definitely not drunk! Another approach: * Lie down on your back. * Keep taking deep and slow breaths, holding your breath both when you fully inhale and when you fully exhale. * Count one to ten repeatedly with each breath cycle. * Relax ALL your muscles as you exhale, relax them further with each breath. * Keep relaxing all your muscles until you feel your weight against the bed. (Clue: If you try to lift your arm it will feel heavy - when that happens you're there). * Keep repeating all above. * Wake up the next morning feeling deeply refreshed. * Share the results on this thread. (You won't know when you fall asleep) |

I will advice you strongly against sleeping tablets cos it's very addictive and it makes your situation worse if skip the tablets. I suggest you go for medical check up, simple illness like typhoid can result to sleeplessness. |

Alcohol and weed will scatter your system, trust me, the least thing you want to do is battle drug abuse and depression. Go and see a doctor. Read books before you sleep or bible. DECENTBWOY: Swidem or Swiclone. 1 pill, don't use every night. Will knock you out in 10 mins for blissful sleep. It's prescription-only so talk with your doctor Prepare to be quite useless the following day because it takes a while to completely wear off. Or get the off-the-shelf Night Aid. Not as effective, but isn't habit-forming. Take 2 tabs and crash in 30 mins to sweet la-la land. |

My brother problem no dey finish for naija and life no get duplicate oooo....try and check your blood pressure, it could be the course of your sleeping disorder. Before you go to bed make sure you that you have enough data sub on your phone, while you're ready to sleep, watch some comedy skit on YouTube, Facebook, etc, and endeavor to laff, bros before you know it, you're already in dreamland in your sleep. My suggestion is try as much as possible to do some exercises for about 45 to an hour before you go to bed. Make sure u have a warm bath after the exercise and avoid pressing phone immediately after all this is done. 1 Like |

If you are in Nigeria go to a psychiatrist hospital.You are suffering from Anxiety and or Social phobia or maybe you have Autism!.As for the sleeping aspect try to take “Diazepam “. One on the morning and one in the evening. You go sleep well and you wil look refreshed!. Run away from Alcohol , weed and Tramadol they will kill you! |
