But they've demonstrated that there's something there indirectly. The point is that we simply do not yet know what they actually are.

How did you arrive at this conclusion from the above? You do realize that the 95 to 96% figure wasn't just made up and that there is indirect evidence for this. You may also wish to know that there are alternative models that may be able to explain it if we had better tools.

Actually, if you think there is a non-physical and there is a God, the burden of proof is more on you to demonstrate this not the other way around.
